App Development

Apps for the work that happens away from a desk.

iOS and Android for field technicians, drivers, sales teams and customers — built around the three actions that happen a hundred times a day, and connected to your system back at the office.

Apps fail on scope, not on engineering.

The most common reason an app goes unused is a feature set nobody needed. So we start with what your users actually do on a normal working day — and which of it currently happens on paper, over the phone or in a chat thread. Everything else can arrive in a later stage, once the first one is in use.

What we handle

iOS and Android from one codebase

One build for both platforms where that holds up — native where camera, location or background behaviour genuinely matter. We justify the choice up front instead of treating it as a matter of belief.

Usable offline

There is no signal in a basement, a warehouse or a building site. Capture still has to work and sync cleanly afterwards — that is the point where field-service apps usually fall apart.

Connected to the office

What the technician records shows up in scheduling and on the invoice without anyone retyping it. Without that connection an app is just another form on a smaller screen.

Release and operation

App Store and Play Store, certificates, review processes, updates. We get the app through the approvals and look after it afterwards — with agreed response times rather than an open timesheet.

The difference from a pure app shop

The app is the visible part; the value sits in the system behind it. Because we also build the business software, we build backend, interface and app together — instead of handing you a front end that needs somebody else to connect it.

  • A small usable version first — then the build-out
  • Backend, interface and app from the same team
  • Offline capture and sync planned in from the start
  • After launch we stay reachable — with agreed response times

What we say up front, not afterwards

A first usable version typically takes six to twelve weeks; store approval comes after that and is not entirely in our hands. And an app is not always the answer: if your people carry a tablet with a browser anyway, a web interface is often faster to get there and cheaper to run. We say so beforehand.

Part of the same run

An app without a system behind it is a form on a small screen. We build the line-of-business system and the automation as well.
